RE: CIFA LEAGUES GAMES AND FA CUP GAMES – COMPETITIONS COMMITTE DECISION

Dear all,

For clarity.

We have been advised that the lights at the Ed Bush field and the Annex field have been removed to be used at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex for the Cayman Invitational Track Meet.

The Sports Department has stated that they will try to return the lights to Ed Bush and Annex on Saturday; however, this cannot be guaranteed, and there is a likelihood that the lights will not be completely re-installed at these venues by Monday.  Also, the Sports Department may be facing a situation where some of the lights that were removed have blown, or will blow out by the end out the track meet.

I advised the Sports Department that I will check back with them in the morning to get an update.

Based on the above, we are trying to err on the side of caution and re-arrange this weekend matches (whether by changing kick off times or changing venues).  The season has to be completed by the end of the month, and we are running up against a wall in relation to being able to reschedule matches.

Kind regards,

Bruce Blake
