Cayman: Police investigate serious collision in Savannah

RCIPS

From RCIPS

At about 11:50PM last night, 25 June, officers responded to a three-vehicle collision on Shamrock Road, Savannah, involving a Honda Accord, Kia Optima, and an RCIPS Ford Explorer service vehicle.

The driver of the Honda sustained serious injuries, while the two occupants of the Kia sustained what appear to be minor injuries and the occupant of the Ford complained of pain. Emergency services attended the location and all four persons were transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital for treatment.

The roadway is currently closed while investigations are ongoing. Eastbound traffic on Shamrock Road is being diverted through Spotts Newlands Road, while westbound traffic is being diverted through Hirst Road. The closure is expected to be in effect through mid-morning.
