From RCIPS

At about 6:10PM on Saturday, 11 June, officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision on North Side Road, in the vicinity of Suncoast Road, involving a blue Mini Cooper.

Emergency services attended the location, and the driver of the vehicle was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital for treatment for what appear to be serious injuries. He remains in hospital in stable but critical condition.

The matter is currently under investigation and anyone with any information or who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact the George Town Police Station at 949-4222, or the Traffic & Roads Policing Unit at 649-6254.
