Cayman: Police investigate Armed Robbery in George Town

Shortly after 1:50AM today, 6 August, officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at a liquor store on Maclendon Drive, George Town. It was reported that a man entered the location, brandished a firearm and demanded cash from the staff there. The male then fled the location on foot with a quantity of cash.

The suspect was wearing a striped shirt with jeans pants and a hat covering his face.

No one was injured during the incident.

The matter is currently under investigation and anyone with any information, or who may have witnessed the incident, is asked to contact George Town CID at 949-4222.
