Cayman – Polar Bear: You made a BIG impact! Thank You!

We did it ieyenews [Colin]

This past February we decided to capitalize on all the love and gift-giving in the air, and get your help to give the Cayman Heart Fund a gift of our own. For every new Discount Service Club sign up, or renewal, we donated to the CHF. With your help we were able to raise $1500! Thank you for being a part of the Discount Service Club!

The Cayman Heart Fund aims to help individuals and families at risk of developing, and currently dealing with heart complications; one of their current projects involves placing AEDs (Automatic External Defibrillators) in as many public spaces as they can. For all who signed up for, and renewed their membership in the month of February, we specifically want to thank you SO MUCH for helping us to donate to this wonderful organization! Visit their website to learn more about other ways to get involved at https://caymanheartfund.ky/.

If you weren’t able to be a part of February’s charity opportunity, fret not! At Polar Bear we are always looking for ways to give back and help our wider community- as far as our entire region, and even the world!

Here are two more opportunities to help change someone’s life:

A couple years ago you helped to raise enough funds and awareness for young Andy Reyes from the Dominican Republic to get a necessary heart transplant! Now he needs our help again in order to get a kidney transplant. Andy, like any other child wants so desperately to live a normal healthy life. This would be one more step towards that goal and we can help him to take it.

Every donation counts.

Relatives of Polar Bear’s very own Gabre Dickens have been conducting a “Back to School” program in the Maryland District in Jamaica, to help provide children in the area with needed resources so they are able to continue their education online while dealing with the effects of the pandemic. Their current goal is to open a fully stocked Homework Centre by this August, and we want to help make that happen!

You can get involved by donating:

Cash via Check, CashApp ($ShammaDickens19801), or Zelle (609-772-0301).
Desktop Computers (they need 12)1 Printer and Printer Paper
Tablets & Laptops
Food and juice, for the kids and volunteers.

You can email [email protected] if you need more information.

Also feel free to share the social media posts relating to this cause and spread the word. The more people know about it, is the more donations they get and the faster they can open their Homework Centre!

Thanks again for being a part of the Polar Bear Discount Club! We’re dedicated to not only serving all of your Air Conditioning and Air Quality needs, but serving and uplifting our communities – near and far!
