Cayman Islands: Woman attacked in the Batabano area of West Bay on Tuesday, 10 January

From RCIPS:

With reference to the press release below, I would like to draw your attention to a clarification and correction.  While “the Shores area” of West Bay may be shorthand to mean a wide part of the district to some, in the context of this press release and the incident it describes we should have used “the Batabano area of West Bay” instead, so as not to create the impression that the incident occurred in the waterfront development known as “The Shores”  — in which it did not happen.  For the sake of clarity further coverage of this incident, should there be any, should refer to the location of the incident as the Batabano area and not “the Shores”.
