Cayman Islands: Two men charged Mon, 27 June, with Robbery and Possession of an Imitation Firearm

On 18 June officers at GTPS received a report from a member of the public regarding a robbery that had taken place in Bodden Town that day during which a quantity of cash was stolen. The suspects, both male, had escaped in a silver Honda Accord motor vehicle. They were armed with what appeared to be a firearm.
Enquiries since this report have led to the arrests of two men, ages 26 and 27, both of Bodden Town, on suspicion of Robbery and Possession of an Imitation Firearm. Both men have been charged with these offences and are in court today.
