Cayman Islands Truman Bodden Law School records best ever LL.B (HONOURS) results:
The latest assessment results recently released by examiners of the University of Liverpool’s Law School, UK, reveal the best set of graduating results to date in the 34 year history of the law school. The 2016 LL.B Degree results reveal that two thirds of the full and part time LL.B graduating classes received Upper Second Class Honours Degrees or better.
Valedictorian graduate from the full time LL.B degree programme, John David Lim, will receive a First Class LL.B Honours Degree of the University for which he will be awarded the following Prizes: The Deans’ Prize of the Liverpool Law School; The Cayman Islands Law Society’s Tim Shea Memorial Prize and the Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce Prize. The Dillon Eustace Travel Bursary will be awarded to Kerseanna Ewers.
Results in years one and two of the full time LL.B Honours programme were also pleasing with top performing students being Michael Daoud in Year One and Gregery Barnes in Year Two.
Of the eight students to be graduating from the LL.B part time Honours degree programme, a record number of seven students will receive Upper Second Class Honours Degrees of the University, with Lagene Johnson-McKenzie graduating as first placed part time student.
The University’s Bachelor of Laws Degree certificates as well as the above noted awards and prizes will be conferred upon TBLS students at the Law School’s 2016 Graduation Ceremony to be held at the Governor’s Ballroom at the Westin Hotel on Friday, August 5th. In attendance, in addition to local dignitaries, and representing the University of Liverpool, will be Mr. Patrick Hackett, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the University of Liverpool and Director of Studies for the Truman Bodden LL.B Degree programme, Mr. Matthew Shillito.
Director of the Truman Bodden Law School, Mr. Mitchell Davies, expressed his delight at the 2016 examination results, noting that they; “demonstrated both a consistent level of very strong performance at the top end of the spectrum, as well as solid performances immediately below that spectrum with no overall LL.B graduating results falling beneath the Lower Second Class range”.

Interesting as the exact same thing was said my the deputy M Rollinson at last year’s graduation to about cohorts which was fact checked as it was filmed and TV station has it too. I guess we’re having a Melania Trump/Michelle Obama here?
How backwards is this anyway? Who announces all the awards before a graduation night?? What’s the point in going now!!? Some school head that is…Nothing new!
