    Christmas Events organized by the Rotary Club of Grand Cayman:

    Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Monday, December 3rd at 6:00 pm.
     
    – Annual Christmas Giving Family Fun Day on Saturday, December 8th
     
    (Only for the students of the Lighthouse School)
     
    For the past few years, Rotarians have been giving the gift of joy to the students of the Lighthouse School. Our club hosts a family fun day at the Dart Community Park with snow cones, cotton candy, balloon art, face painting and a special visit from Santa himself bringing gifts for all the children. It is truly a magical event, one the children look forward to, and so do we.
     
    – Annual Boxing Day Christmas Luncheon for Senior Citizens, December 26th
     
    The Rotary Club of Grand Cayman will again be hosting The Rotary Annual Boxing Day Christmas Party for Senior Citizens on Wednesday, December 26th at the First Baptist Church of Grand Cayman, 920 Crewe Road at 2:30 pm. 
     
    This is a truly Caymanian event honouring Cayman’s Seniors. Hundreds of attending guests will be provided with a delicious, hot, Christmas meal, receive gift bags, dance and sing Christmas Carols – a Christmas feast for many who might otherwise have missed out on festive fare.
     
    The Party helps to bring the joys of Christmas to the elderly and to show them that people care. Some of the Seniors that attend don’t have family and this annual get together allows them to celebrate the festive period with friends and feel less isolated at a time of year where feelings of loneliness can be heightened.
     
    Free bus transportation, free international calls to loved ones abroad, an awesome entertainment program, gift bags containing some essential items, prizes and surprises – all these make the Rotary Club’s Annual December Party a “can’t miss event” for Cayman Senior Citizens.
