Report of Indecent Assault Early This Morning, 13 February

Just before 3:30AM this morning, Monday, 13 February, officers responded to a report of an indecent assault by an intruder at a residence along West Bay Road in West Bay.   A woman had awoken to find a man in her bedroom engaging in indecent behaviour with a T-shirt over his head.  He left shortly thereafter and the woman was not harmed.

The man is described as being about 5’7” in height, about 18 to 30 years of age, with a slim but muscular build.

The incident is under investigation, and police are conducting operations and patrols in response to this and reports of indecent assaults in other parts of West Bay in recent weeks.  Anyone with any information that could assist police in these investigations is asked to call the George Town Police Station at 949-4222, or the RCIPS Confidential Tip Line at 949-7777 or Crime Stoppers at 800-8477.
