RE: NCVO’S Appeal To Help Local Children Hundreds of children on island need your support.

They need security, care and protection in our foster home, they need subsidised preschool education &

daycare at our preschool and nursery, and they need school lunches to prevent them from going hungry.

With YOUR help, the NCVO’s programmes can lessen all of these problems, directly benefitting vulnerable children in need.

Every year, thanks to your donations, the NCVO helps children and families in need of support in the Cayman Islands through programmes dedicated to their care, education and well –being.

The NCVO will be holding its main fundraiser, the 37th Annual Radio/Telethon on Saturday 22nd October, 2016 from 7:00 p.m. onwards at the Prospect Playhouse. This popular event will be aired live on Cayman 27 and Radio Cayman. The NCVO relies heavily on this event as its main source of donations to ensure that NCVO projects such as the Nadine Andreas Residential Foster Home remain in operation. Over the past ten years, the NCVO’s Foster Home has housed over 45 children in need of care and protection who were placed with us as they had been subject to abuse or neglect. Other NCVO programmes include Miss Nadine’s Pre-school and the Jack and Jill Nursery which provide subsidised preschool and daycare (including free spaces and means tested fees) and the Caring Cousins Lunch Support Programme. For more information about these programmes and others, please see our website: www.ncvo.org.ky

The NCVO is dependent upon the generosity of the business community and individuals. We urge you to assist the

NCVO in maintaining our projects and addressing increasing needs throughout the community. Our goal is to raise CI$140,000 to directly assist and support hundreds of children every year.

Donations by mail will be gratefully accepted prior to the date of the Radio/Telethon to the NCVO, P. O. Box 1140, Grand Cayman, KY1-1102.

Donations can also be made by going onto our website: www.ncvo.org.ky and hitting the DONATE NOW button (please reference the radio/telethon) or by contacting Janice Wilson at the NCVO office 949-2124 or by email: [email protected] to arrange making your donation live at the event.

Once your donation has been received it will be recorded and announced on the evening of the event. If you wish to remain anonymous please let us know.

We do hope that you consider this request favourably. We encourage you to forward this appeal to friends, family and colleagues. Your donation can make a big difference to the lives of many, so please help us to help those who need it most.
