Cayman Islands NWDA Director leaves position

Screen Shot 2016-07-06 at 6.08.32 PMGrand Cayman, Cayman Islands – The National Workforce Development Agency’s (NWDA) Director has left his position and is no longer working with the department or the Cayman Islands Government. Mr. Brian Holland who began with the NWDA in September 2014 has vacated his post early due to personal reasons.

“On behalf of the Ministry and the NWDA, I would like to thank Mr. Holland for the contributions he made during his time at the NWDA and I wish him success in his future endeavours,” said Chief Officer for Employment Mr. Christen Suckoo.

Recruitment for this position will begin shortly. Until a new Director is appointed, Mrs. Lois Kellyman, Manager, Employment Services in the NWDA will act as Director.

The NWDA assists applicants with employment-related services necessary to secure and maintain acceptable employment. These services include Work Readiness Programmes, Employer Job Listings, Job Placement and Referrals, Career and Employment Counselling, Career Information, Training and Development Opportunities and Labour Market Information.
