He has been identified as Mr. Charles Gregory, age 64 of George Town.

EDITOR: Mr Charles “Gregg” Gregory was well known to many of us in the Cayman islands. He was the owner of Hopscotch Recording Studios, the Largest Sound Company in Cayman Islands.

The Cayman National Cultural Foundation posted the following tribute to “Gregg” on their Facebook page:

“We are deeply saddened at the passing of Charles Gregory (Greg of Hopscotch Studios). Greg was a true professional and a friend to CNCF and worked with us on production tech areas for countless projects, including the provision of sound systems at the Harquail, Gimistory, Cayfest and the studio recordings of our albums. Greg was a trailblazer in Cayman’s music and entertainment industry, and his passing is an immense loss to Cayman. Our hearts go out to his family, friends and other close associates. May he Rest In Peace.”
