Charge: North Side Resident Murdered, Suspect Charged, 13 June
A 19-year-old-man of North Side who had been arrested on suspicion of murder has now been charged. The man was arrested after following the death of 66-year-old-Timothy Rivers, also of North Side, who was stabbed and killed on 8 June. (see below press release)
The suspect has now been charged by the police for the offence of Murder and is expected to be in court this afternoon, 13 June.

A 19-year-old-man of North Side who is known to the victim was arrested on suspicion of murder and currently remains in police custody. A murder investigation has been launched into this matter
Police are currently on the scene of a major incident in North Side where a man has been found bleeding and unresponsive at a location on Hutland Road.
The RCIPS can confirm that the man has died.
The matter is currently under investigation and further updates will follow.
Police are appealing for anyone who has any information on this matter or who may have seen anything to contact Detective Inspector Morrison at 916-1045.
