Cayman Islands introduces system to streamline approvals paperwork

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Cayman Islands is introducing a system that it says will make it easier for business aviation customers to apply for approvals and renew documents.

iNews Cayman has been informed the Cayman Islands will be using the locally based Brac Informatics Centre to develop an electronic data management process called VP-C Online.

Authorised users will be able to use smart online forms to submit documents. Phase one of the scheme is being launched at EBACE.

A second phase will add additional functionality, including the ability to submit information on financial due diligence/compliance and authorisation of maintenance organisations.

The Civil Aviation Authority is the regulatory body that controls the aviation industry throughout the Cayman Islands.
