Cayman Islands health services sign up civil servants for Internet access

HSA Sign Up 590 smallHSA Signs Up Civil Service

Health-conscious civil servants are taking advantage of the chance to sign-up for online access to the Health Service Authority’s (HSA) new patient portal, using the registration booth set up in the Government Administration Building today (Thursday, 16 April, 2015) and tomorrow.

This time-saving innovation allows any client the ability to make medical appointments and even access their personal health information online.

It is free of change and accessible 24/7. Users are able to make or cancel appointments; see test results, immunization, allergy and health history information; as well as send secure messages to doctors or other HSA staff.

The service allows access from any internet connection.

While it was launched nationally about six months ago, only some 200 people have signed up to date – a number which the CIG staff should double this week.

The HSA plans to host other public sign-up events over coming months.
