WHO:                         The National Housing Development Trust (NHDT) in conjunction with the Ministry of Housing.

 

WHAT:                       Official opening of the first homes constructed in phase two of the NHDT’s Affordable Housing Initiative.

Background:           The ground-breaking for this project was held in February. Ten of the 16 new homes occupied. The Trust continues to invite applicants to express interest as this would assist in determining the continued demand for housing under the Affordable Housing Inititiative Program. The newly constructed houses are being sold for $110,000 for a two bedroom and $125,000 for a three bedroom. Eligible applicants must be first-time home-owners who earn below a specified income level.(GIS)
