RCIPS Appeals for Witnesses in Investigation into the Murder of Damean Seymour Yesterday, 28 November

A Major Incident Room was established yesterday, 28 November, to investigate the shooting death of Damean Seymour, who was shot around 11:40AM on Martin Drive.

CCTV footage of the incident is being reviewed and a suspect is described as male, between 5’8”– 6’ tall, of slim build and fair complexion.  The suspect was wearing a long-sleeved, white shirt and dark pants.  He ran from the scene toward Tigris Street just after the shooting.

Detectives are appealing for anyone who may have seen the suspect or anything suspicious yesterday around 11:30AM on Martin Drive to contact them at 949-4222.

UPDATE: The man killed in the shooting incident below has been identified as Caymanian Damean Dwayne Seymour (34), also known as “Deebo.”

Today, 28 November, just before 11:45AM, a shooting occurred near the intersection of Martin Drive and Tigris Street in George Town.  A man was fatally wounded.

Police are on scene and the incident is under investigation. Anyone with any information is urged to call 949-4222.
