Cayman Islands company shortlisted for prestigious investors in People’s Awards 2016

People's Awards 2Cayman Islands based business SteppingStones Recruitment Ltd has been named as a leader in people management practice globally, having been shortlisted in the Best Newcomer (International) and Gold Employer of the year (International) categories in the third annual Investors in People Awards. The Best Newcomer category recognises organisations that show an incredible passion, dedication and unswerving commitment to investing in their workforce, while the Gold Employer category recognises high-performing and high-achieving organisations that put people at the heart of their future success.

Finalists are drawn from the top 7% of Investors in People organisations.

SteppingStones is the first recruitment company in the Cayman to receive the IIP Gold award, and is one of only two companies globally nominated for two awards. The judging panel commended the company for its outlook on running a successful business, and for seeing investing in people as not a choice, but a necessity.

The Awards, which received over 300 entries internationally, celebrates the best people management practices amongst Investors in People accredited businesses. Winners are announced at a spectacular awards ceremony and dinner on 29 June 2016 at Old Billingsgate, London. Finalists represent the best of the best worldwide.

The Caribbean’s IIP license holder, Eric Jenkinson of Bermuda-based Management Solutions, was not surprised that SteppingStones have continued to excel on the global stage, “The SteppingStones team has had an amazing journey with Investors in People,” Mr. Jenkinson said. “They have created a truly remarkable culture within the company and they well-deserve to be shortlisted for the international IIP Awards. It is a great credit to them, and shows that companies in Cayman can prove that they are amongst the world’s best.”
