Cayman Islands Chamber presents high achieving students with graduation awards

The Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce presented high-achieving public & private school students with subject awards at recent graduation ceremonies.

President Kyle Broadhurst, President-Elect Paul Byles & Vice-President Chris Kirkconnell awarded students from Clifton Hunter, John Gray, St. Ignatius and Triple C with plaques in recognition of their outstanding achievements.

“Young Caymanians are our future, and it’s important that we encourage their personal development from as young an age as possible,” said Chamber CEO, Wil Pineau, CCE. “These awards are a token of praise for these hard-working students, and we are very proud to celebrate their accomplishments.”
One student from John Gray High School was also presented with a state-of-the-art laptop, courtesy of Davenport Development Ltd., in recognition of her excellent results. Other students were presented with gift vouchers and cash prizes from Campbells, Kirk Office and Red Sail Sports. We also presented one high-achieving student from Clifton Hunter High School with a state-of-the-art Tablet to assist with future studies.

“These awards are just one of many initiatives the Chamber has to support those excelling in education,” added Mr. Pineau. “The next step is to nurture the educational drive of these students to ensure they go on to exceed at university and become the leaders of tomorrow.”

We would like to congratulate all students on completing their high school studies, and we wish them all the best in their future development.

Our congratulatory efforts will continue in August when we present the recipient for ‘Best Performance in Third Year (Full Time) LLB Modules’ with their own plaque and gift certificates.
