An exciting show over this weekend will provide local audiences a preview of the entire Cayman Islands’ presentation at the premier Caribbean arts and culture event CARIFESTA that takes place across several venues in Barbados in mid-August.

The announcement came at a press conference at the Harquail Theatre today (Monday, 24 July 2017). The Artistic Director of the Cayman National Cultural Foundation and head of the CI contingent, Mr. Henry Muttoo thanked all the sponsors so far and said the CARIFESTA Showcase at the Harquail Theatre over Friday 28 to Sunday 30 July 2017 will also serve as a fundraiser for the CI contingent’s travel to Barbados and back.

Tickets are $25 apiece and can be purchased from Funky Tangs or at the theatre. With funds still being gathered, more sponsors are sought to help meet costs that run to $3,000 for an individual participant’s entire trip.
