Cayman Islands: Armed Robbery – George Town

On Monday 13th October 2014, police received a report of an armed robbery at the located on , George Town.

At 10:56pm, it was reported that two masked men armed with what appeared to be firearms entered the premises and demanded cash from a staff member. During the course of the robbery, the culprits made off with the cash register belonging to the business and also robbed a customer of cash and a cell phone; an employee was also robbed of a cell phone, the cash taken is estimated to be about $600.00. The culprits later made off on foot onto off North Church Street.

The suspects are described as having dark complexion, tall, slim built and at the time was wearing dark coloured clothing including hoodies and long pants.

No shots were fired and no one was injured during the course of the robbery
