Last month, Island Naturals marked its 10th Anniversary by raising KYD $15,000 for Meals on Wheels through their annual Holiday Giveback.

Marking 10 years of business on December 9th, 2022, Island Naturals’ three Retail Outlets and award-winning Cafe joined together to give back to the community.

“Each year, we seek to give back to Cayman, through various initiatives, to thank them for their incredible, ongoing support for Island Naturals,” said Owner and Founder Lindsay Allen.

“To kick off our 10th Anniversary Year, we sought to raise our largest donation for a local charity that shared our mission of supporting health and wellness throughout Cayman,” said Ms Allen.

“We launched with our goal of $10,000 for 10 years and ended up raising $15,000 for Meals on Wheels,” shared Ms Allen. “I’m so incredibly proud of the Island Naturals team and our amazing community for going above and beyond for this incredible organisation.”

With this donation, Meals on Wheels will be able to provide over 3,000 hot meals and hearty soups for seniors in need across the Cayman Islands. The donation will also allow them to take additional seniors off their waitlist.

“We are extremely thankful to the Island Naturals team and their patrons for opening their hearts and wallets to support our mission,” said Meals on Wheels Cayman General Manager Jennifer West.

“After a year of unprecedented increases in food costs and demand for our services, these funds are needed now more than ever before,” continued Ms West.

Looking towards the future, Ms Allen shares that Island Naturals plans to continue growing and developing their services to better support the local community’s health, happiness, and wellness.

“We already have some big plans in motion for the New Year,” said Ms Allen. “I’m really looking forward to sharing more with our Island Naturals community shortly.”
