Cayman: DVDL to Close on Thursday, 23 January, 2025

Grand Cayman; 20 January, 2025 – The Department of Vehicle and Drivers’ Licensing (DVDL) wishes to advise the public that all its offices will be closed on Thursday, 23 January, 2025 to facilitate a staff training.
All offices of DVDL will resume business operations on Friday, 24 January, 2025. The DVDL apologizes for any inconveniences caused.
Customers are reminded that they can renew their vehicle and drivers’ licences online via DVDL’s website at www.dvdl.gov.ky<http://www.dvdl.gov.ky>.

Under the Traffic Act, the Department of Vehicles and Licensing in the Cayman Islands was established to assume a comprehensive range of responsibilities. These include inspecting and testing vehicles, registering motor vehicles, maintaining the register, issuing licenses for both vehicles and drivers, conducting driving tests and fulfilling any other functions assigned periodically.
