The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. John Lee, reports that as of 8am Friday, 15 October, there have been 947 PCR tests since the last report on Thursday, 14 October. 

From these, there were 15 positive tests, comprising two positive tests in travellers and 13 positive tests from the community, five of which were in children. 

To date, there have been 110,130 COVID-19 vaccinations given in total in the Cayman Islands. Of these, 55,819 (79 percent of 71,106) have had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 53,421 (75 percent) have completed the two-dose course.  Additionally, 890 (representing five percent of those over the age of 50) have had a third or booster dose.
