Bodden Town Man Charged with Aggravated Burglary

Yesterday [Wed] 6 October police formally charged a 43-year-old-man of Bodden Town with Aggravated Burglary following his arrest in relation to an incident that took place just before 5:50PM on 3 October, at a residence in Birchwood Road, George Town.

The Bodden Town man was arrested by officers at the scene of the incident with weapons in his possession that were used to assault another man, after forcibly entering the premise. The injured party was transported by ambulance to the Cayman Islands Hospital by ambulance where he was treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries and later released.

Man Arrested in Relation to Aggravated Burglary in North Side

Update:

A 27-year-old man of East End was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary on 4 October, near his home address. He was arrested in relation to an incident that took place in the North Side District on 30 September (see details below). The man was bailed by the police yesterday pending further investigations.

Shortly after 3:00AM today, 30 September, officers received a report of an aggravated burglary and assault that had occurred at an address on Frank Sound Road in North Side. It was reported that the occupants of the home had awoken to find an unknown male in the home. A struggle ensued during which a male occupant of the house received injuries. The culprit then fled the location. The injured occupant was transported to hospital via private vehicle for treatment. He remains in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
