Caribbean InTransit and IDB host art exhibition

Caribbean InTransit is producing and partnering with significant and high impact entities in creating access to a chain of arts festivals. Join them for their first festival of the year, Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) Creatives of the Caribbean in Washington DC, June 6 (today!), 19 and 20, 2014. As part of the IDB Creatives of the Caribbean Festival, today, June 6, is the official opening of an exhibition of Caribbean art: FLOW. The exhibition will take place at the Inter-American Development Bank, located at 1330 New York Avenue NW Washington, DC. [See previous post IDB Presents “FLOW: Economies of the Look and Creativity in Contemporary Art from the Caribbean”.]

On June 19, the partnership is hosting Bajan “Queen of Soca” Alison Hinds, performing with Positive Vibrations Youth Steel Orchestra, at 6:30pm. On June 20, they will host a seminar with the Inter-American Development Bank on the Creative Industries.
