GRAND CAYMAN, The Cayman Islands, Feb. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Academy – School of Blockchain (“Academy”) is thrilled to announce a winning finish at the fiercely competitive d10e ICO Pitch event in Grand Cayman.

Two dozen of 2018’s hottest blockchain projects battled it out in an intense pitching competition on 29 January, vying for a cut of the $150,000USD investment prize pool. Academy was one of three winners of the Investors Award, which is selected by members of the Blockchain Investors Consortium (BIC). The investment prize is divided equally among the top three presenters receiving the highest marks from the judging panel.

Academy co-founder Jason King took the stage on behalf of Academy. “d10e’s competition judges are tough; they’re career investors and know the ins and outs of the blockchain/crypto space better than almost anyone in the sector, so placing in the competition is validation of Academy’s integrity and potential for continued success,” said King.

“It’s invigorating to see leading investors in the industry get behind Academy and our vision for the future of blockchain education,” said John Souza, founder and CEO of Academy. “Winning at d10e is an endorsement from the investor community that Academy’s goals in blockchain education are aligned with what the industry needs.”
