Isolated showers are lingering across the Cayman area associated with a surface trough over the Yucatan Peninsula. A decrease in showers is expected through this afternoon as the trough moves further west of the area. Light winds and slight seas are expected over the next 24 hours due to a weak pressure gradient across the northwest Caribbean.
