EARLY TROPICAL REPORT

TS ARTHUR MOVING NORTH-NORTHEASTWARD

SYNOPSIS

Light to moderate southeasterly winds and seas are expected across the Cayman area for the next 24 hours as Tropical storm Arthur moves the Western Atlantic Ocean. Radar images show isolated showers in and around the Cayman area moving towards the north. The National Hurricane Center in Miami Florida is issuing advisories on Tropical storm Arthur: At 4 a.m. One was located near 30.0 north and 77.6 west or about 380 miles south southwest of Cape Hatteras North Carolina with maximum sustained winds of 40 mph and moving towards the north northeast at 9 mph.
