TROPICAL STORM ERICK

ERICK EXPECTED TO BECOME A HURRICANE ON WEDNESDAY WHILE APPROACHING THE COASTS OF OAXACA AND GUERRERO MEXICO.

SYNOPSIS

Fresh winds with moderate to rough seas are expected for the next 24 hours. A tropical wave over the northwest Caribbean will allow for possible isolated showers and thunder spreading over the Cayman area moving towards the northwest.

Day: Partly cloudy early, then mostly cloudy and windy this afternoon. Winds E at 20 to 30 mph.

Night: Cloudy this evening. Scattered thunderstorms developing after midnight. Winds E at 20 to 25 mph.

Chance of rain: 40%.

Sea: Moderate to rough with a wave height of 4 to 6 feet. Small craft should exercise caution over open water.
