As the day progresses, expect an increase in the chance of showers as a shear line lingers over the northwestern Caribbean, and a southeasterly wind flow advects moisture across the area. In addition, an upper level trough positioned to the west of the area will result in isolated thunder.

Day: WU/TWC forecast:  Windy with isolated thunderstorms during the morning – storms becoming more widespread this afternoon. . Winds SW at 20-30 mph
