BOOKS & BOOKS: bestselling author Michael Ondaatje for a discussion and signing of his new novel, The Cat’s Table. This special event will begin in Gardenia Court, where Ondaatje will give an intimate presentation and reading before taking questions from the audience. 30th ANNUAL KIWANIBIKE: On Saturday 10th December at 7:00am, the 30th annual Kiwanibike will get underway to raise funds for a vehicle for Cayman Hospice Care and to support up to 60 Key Club members who travel annually to their young leaders convention in the USA. Those who wish to ride KiwaniBike but not who do not possess a cycle of their own should contact Cayman Cycle Rentals in Coconut Place (945-4021). AT CAMANA BAY – Dec 3 from 10 am to 4 pm: This particular exhibition/sale sponsored by Visual Arts Society in collaboration with Camana Bay will be displaying a variety of Artists and Craft person’s work from wall art to cartoon cards, Christmas art cards, hand-crafted jewelry, Christmas decorations, baked goods, WIN gift vouchers from various restaurants and retail outlets such as; Grand Old House, Pure Art, Cracked Conch, Nautilus Semi-Submarine Tours, 24K-Mon or pay $5.00 per raffle ticket. LIBRARY TOY CHEST DRIVE: The Public Library is promoting children’s reading through dress-up and seeks old costumes, hats, ties, vests, gloves, costume jewellery or other items that can be used to enhance “dress-up” storytelling experiences. Donations may be dropped off at any of the Grand Cayman district libraries between 10am and 4pm Mondays through Fridays, and 10am to noon on Saturdays.
