SYNOPSIS

Localized isolated showers and possible thunder along with light southeasterly winds and slight seas are expected today. An increase in cloudiness and showers from late tonight is expected as a tropical wave moves into our area. The wave is moving west at 10 to 15 knots. Radar images show isolated showers in and around the Cayman area moving west. The National Hurricane Center in Miami Florida is issuing advisories on newly formed Tropical Storm Fay. This storm is north of our monitoring area and further information can be found at www.nhc.noaa.gov. This storm poses no threat to the Cayman Islands.
