The 27 year old male arrested on Thursday 19th May for the possession of cocaine with intent to supply and possession of ganja (first press release below) has now been formally charged for the following offences: 1) Possession of cocaine W/I to Supply, 2) Possession and consumption of cocaine and 3) Possession and consumption of ganja. The man will appear in court this morning [Mon 23].

Proactive Patrol Stop Yields Drug Arrest on West Bay Road Yesterday Evening, 19 May

Yesterday evening, 19 May, officers observed a vehicle leave a parking lot on West Bay Road (near Lawrence Blvd) and proceed along the road in a suspicious manner. Officers stopped the vehicle, spoke with the driver, and subsequently searched his person and vehicle. In the course of this search a quantity of white powder resembling cocaine and vegetable matter resembling ganja were found. The man, age 27, of George Town, was arrested on suspicion of several drug charges, including Possession of Ganja and Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Supply. He is currently in Police Custody.
