Tortuga Opens Rum Cake Store at Falmouth Jamaica Cruise Ship Pier

Falmouth, Jamaica – When Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas arrived in Falmouth, Jamaica on Wednesday, July 18, doors to Tortuga’s new flagship retail store at the pier opened to welcome them and share their authentic taste of Jamaica with over 5,000 cruise ship passengers. They were greetedwith Tortuga Rum Cake samples, Rum Punch, Fruit Punch and the sweet sounds of a local Steel Pan artist.

They arean excellent example of a company that successfully provides an authentic Caribbean experience and promotes Jamaica and our entire region to the rest of the world,” says William Tatham, Vice President, Cruise Shipping and Marina Operations at The Port Authority of Jamaica. The Falmouth Pier is now the Jamaica’s busiest pier and recognized internationally at Seatrade Europe as 2011 Port of the Year.
