Police were on the scene last night just after 10pm at the Eastern Ave Texaco following a report of a robbery in progress being received.

The call which came in at around 1002pm advising that the gas station was being robbed by a person who was armed with what was believed to be a firearm.

Police responded but however upon arrival no suspect was present.

There were no shots were fired nor was anyone injured during the incident.

Police are investigating the matter.This is the third robbery in two days
