One female has been taken to the Cayman Island Hospital  in George Town by Emergency Medical Services following a motor vehicle collision along Shamrock Road in the vicinity  of Corella Drive earlier this evening.

About 5: 40 pm on Tuesday 16^th October 2012, a pedestrian was struck by a motor car whilst standing on the shoulder of the road.

Emergency services attended the scene and conveyed the injured party to the Cayman Islands Hospital in George Town. The pedestrian is presently being treated for injuries received.
