Ogier supports special needs initiatives in the Cayman Islands

Rachael and KellieOgier recently made a donation of $2,500 to the 9th Annual Open Arms Gala in support of Rotaract Blue Cayman Islands.

Rotaract Blue Cayman Islands is a leadership and community-service based organisation that established the Open Arms Program in 2007, in response to the unmet need the organisation identified in the special needs community. The aim is to enhance society’s understanding of persons with special needs and enrich these individuals’ lives.

The Open Arms Gala is a special event which aims to shine a spotlight on the special needs community and raises funds for schools and organisations that support those with special needs. These include The Lighthouse School, Special Needs Foundation Cayman, Maple House, Sunrise Adult Training Centre and Special Olympics Cayman Islands.

The firm also donated gala tickets to clients of the Sunrise Adult Training Centre who led the singing of the Cayman National Song and provided signing for the hearing impaired at the event.

Ogier partner Rachael Reynolds “We were pleased to give our support for this very worthy initiative and wish Rotaract Blue Cayman Islands continued success with serving Cayman’s special needs community.”
