5 arrested in George Town for ganja

Just after 1:00pm, Thursday 27th November 2014, uniform officers from George Town Police Station conducted a raid behind Burger King Restaurant on Walker’s Road, George Town. There, three young females and two males were arrested for possession vegetable matter resembling ganja and possession of a utensil. The accused persons were between the ages of 17 years and 22 years.
They were subsequently bailed to return to GTPS at a later date.
The matter is under investigation.
North Side male charged for burglary

A 32 year old male resident from North Side has been charged for burglary by detectives from the Bodden Town Police Station. The accused was arrested on Tuesday 25th November 2014 for a residential burglary reported in North Side the previous day.
He will appeared in summary court tomorrow Friday 28th November 2014.
