Luxurious real estate development coming to the Cayman Islands

From Bajan Reporter

The Cayman Islands are about to develop the most luxurious real estate project in its history, according to the Caribbean Journal. The WaterMark, a collection of 54 new beachfront units is set to be constructed along Seven Mile Beach and promises to provide residents with premium living and high end amenities.

No doubt, this glorious new development, along with the island’s other new developments, will attract Caribbean nationals, as well as foreign internationals which will help the government to boost the local economy.

Oozing luxury

In the past year, the Cayman Islands have unveiled plans for multiple luxurious real estate compounds. Last November, it was revealed that 62 private residences were to built at the Seafire real estate development. Lucky residents who secure a property here will be treated to a private rooftop terrace and a private pool. Meanwhile, earlier this year, 167 residences at Grand Hyatt Grand Cayman Residences were announced. These condos are set to come with three pools, a wellness spa, a salon, a gym and multiple venues accessible to residents. However, The WaterMark looks set to be even bigger.

What to expect

Developers have gone all out with their plans for The WaterMark and have assured investors that they will have access to 12 swimming pools, a library, a spa, yoga studio, an oceanfront conservatory, restaurant and underground parking. These new condos will come with a price tag between $5 million and $24 million USD. However, owners will have the chance to make even more from their new home should they wish to by opting to withdraw equity from their property. By refinancing your luxurious home, you’ll receive cash to make it even more splendid than it already is. As a result, your investment will be worth more in the long run.

Moving fast

The WaterMark is already a much sought after property development. Despite construction not set to start until Spring 2019, 65% of the units have already been sold. Therefore, if you want to enjoy life in a private beach side condo, you need to move fast. RE/MAX’s Kim Lund, is one of the realtors who is licensed to sell The WaterMark properties and has compared them to The WaterColour development which was built in 2014. “WaterColours was the gold standard for Seven Mile Beach and this takes it to a whole other level,” he added…

The Cayman Islands is the place to be for individuals seeking high-end property. A host of new complexes have been announced recently. However, The WaterMark looks set to stand out from the crowd.
