Kathryn McLoughlin and Christopher LaVine are married in Cayman

Kathryn Towler McLoughlin and Christopher Dalton LaVine were married Saturday (15) at St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church in George Town, Grand Cayman. The Rev. Suresh Rajaian, a Roman Catholic priest and pastor of the church, performed the ceremony.

The couple met at the University of Richmond, from which they graduated.

Mrs. LaVine, 30, works in Princeton, N.J., as a district business manager for Bristol-Myers Squibb. She oversees a team of sales representatives in central New Jersey.

She is the daughter of Mary L. McLoughlin and Vincent P. McLoughlin of Alpharetta, Ga. The bride’s father is the chairman of Cardinal Logistics Management, a trucking company based in Concord, N.C. Her mother is a New York-based flight attendant for Delta Air Lines.

Mr. LaVine, also 30, is a portfolio manager at Rational Group, a financial advisory and technology company based in New York. He received an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia.

He is a son of Angel M. LaVine and Kenneth N. LaVine Jr. of Weekapaug, R.I. The groom’s mother is the owner and publisher of the Weekapaug-based Ocean Views Summer Directory, which publishes a summer directory and an annual newspaper. His father, who worked in New York, retired as the chief financial officer for the Chemical Banking Corporation.
