HBO confirms debut dates for the comedy special Jerrod Carmichael: 8 and the second season of Animals

HBO has confirmed the March debut dates for the comedy special Jerrod Carmichael: 8and the second season of Animals..

Jerrod Carmichael: 8 debuts Saturday, March 11th at 22hrs AST*, simultaneously with the United States. Taped in December, this exclusive presentation features the hot comedy star in his second HBO solo special.

Animals. kicks off its ten-episode second season on Friday, March 17th at 23:30hrs AST*, also simultaneously with the United States. Created by Phil Matarese and Mike Luciano, and produced by Duplass Brothers Television, this animated adult comedy series focuses on the downtrodden creatures native to Earth’s least-habitable environment: New York City. Whether it’s lovelorn rats, gender-questioning pigeons or aging bedbugs in the midst of a midlife crisis, the awkward small talk, moral ambiguity and existential woes of non-human urbanites prove startlingly similar to our own.

Additionally, the first episode of the new season of Animals. will be open to the public for a limited time on HBO GO, the premium digital entertainment platform, from March 18ththrough April 16th.

Both Jerrod Carmichael: 8 and all the seasons of Animals. will be available exclusively for subscribers on HBO GO following their premiere on the channel. Subscribers can access HBO GO by visiting the website www.hbogoca.com on any desktop or laptop computer (PC or Apple) or by downloading the mobile app on devices with iOS (iPad, iPhone, iPad Touch) or Android (OS 2.3+) operational systems.
