GRAND CAYMAN, Cayman Islands (AP) _ Greenlight Capital Re Ltd. (GLRE) on Monday reported third-quarter earnings of $19.9 million.

The Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands-based company said it had net income of 53 cents per share.

The property and casualty reinsurance service provider posted revenue of $236.1 million in the period.

Greenlight Capital Re shares have decreased roughly 2 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $22.40, an increase of 13 percent in the last 12 months.
