Justice Charles Quinn accepted the application for two new attorneys to practise law in the Cayman Islands: Mr. Dixon and former United Kingdom (UK) lawyer Oliver Edward Goodwin.
Mr. Dixon (38), who was born in the UK to Donnell Dixon (of Cayman Brac) and Patricia Dixon (of the UK), graduated from the Truman Bodden Law School in 2011 with a bachelor’s of law (LLB), and a year later received a commendation in his Professional Practise Course (PPC). He completed his articles at the offices of the Attorney General’s Chambers and the Director of Public Prosecution.

Mr Dixon’s admission to the bar was applied for by the Attorney General, Hon. Samuel Bulgin, who in his speech said, “Mr Dixon’s ultimate goal is to become a public prosecutor within the offices of the Director of Public Prosecutions and then be elevated on to the bench to become a judge.”
