Treasure Island Resort in receivership 

Zolfo Cooper appointed to act as Joint Receivers of Restoration Cayman Ltd.

George Town, Grand Cayman, 20 November 2014, Tammy Fu and Eleanor Fisher of Zolfo Cooper, PO Box 776, Canella Court, Camana Bay, Grand Cayman were today (Nov 20) appointed as Joint Receivers of Restoration Cayman Ltd. (“the Company”) by virtue of the powers contained in the security agreements entered into between the secured lender, Scotiabank & Trust (Cayman) Ltd, and the Company.

The Company is the legal owner of the property known and operated as Treasure Island Resort, Grand Cayman.

Any queries in respect of the receivership should be addressed to the Receivers.

DEH Bulk Waste schedule

From Cayman Islands Department of Environmental Health

The DEH bulk waste pick-up schedule for Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman are as follows:-

· East End / North Side Districts – 17 November to 22 November.

· Cayman Brac – 24 November to 28 November.

· Bodden Town District – 24 November to 29 November.

· George Town District – 1 December to 6 December.

· West Bay District – 8 December to 13 December.

Bulk waste items should be placed on the curbside where they can be accessed by DEH trucks but not block or obstruct traffic. Bulk waste includes items such as household appliances, furniture, and yard waste. These are items not handled by normal DEH residential garbage bi-weekly collection.
