Cayman: Shot fired on Selkirk Drive

From RCIPS

hortly after 11:00PM yesterday, 15 September, officers responded to a report of shots fired at an address off Selkirk Drive, George Town, where an unknown person had fired a shot at the house. No one was injured in the incident. It is suspected that the culprit then fled the location in a vehicle.

The matter is currently under police investigation.

“Having two firearms incidents occurring on the same weekend is particularly concerning, and we are investigating both incidents thoroughly, in part to establish if there is any link between them,” said Detective Superintendent Peter Lansdown of the Criminal Investigations Department. “We urge members of the public to come forward if they have any information on either incident.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact George Town CID at 949-4222.
