From RCIPS

Earlier this afternoon police responded to a report of a person in distress at Cemetery Beach in West Bay. A man had been in the water snorkeling when he experienced and was assisted to shore by another person at the location. Upon reaching the shore he collapsed and was attended to shortly afterwards by officers from the CI Fire Service who assisted with CPR until EMTs arrived. He was transported by ambulance to the Cayman Islands Hospital and later pronounced dead.

The man, age 63, is a visitor from Canada.
