Wanted Man Charged with Assault GBH and Wrongful Confinement, 3 October

Joseph Hurlston, age 36 of George Town, has now been formally charged with Assault GBH and Wrongful Confinement, in relation to an incident on the morning of Wednesday, 26 September, involving a woman known to him. It is reported that the woman was held against her will and assaulted.

He appears in court this afternoon, 3 October.

The other man, age 42 of George Town, who was arrested on suspicion of harbouring an offender, has been bailed as investigations continue.

 

UPDATE: Wanted Man, Joseph Hurlston, Located, 30 September

Wanted man, Joseph Hurlston, age 36 of George Town, was located by officers yesterday evening, 30 September, at an adress on West Bay Road, following a tip from a member of the public. He has been taken into police custody. Another man at the location was also arrested on suspicion of harbouring an offender. 
The RCIPS would like to thank the public for their assistance in this matter.

The RCIPS is requesting public assistance in locating Joseph V. Hurlston, age 36.  He lives in George Town.  Pictures of Mr. Hurlston are attached.  He is known to frequent the Prospect and George Town area.

Mr. Hurlston is approximately 5’ 9” tall, weighs about 145lbs., and is of light brown complexion.  He is believed to have long dreadlocks.

Police need to speak with Mr. Hurlston as a matter of urgency.  Anyone who sees Mr. Hurlston should not approach him but should call 9-1-1 immediately and advise where he is located.
