The robbery took place just after 9:40PM on Saturday night 22 September.

There were no shots fired during the incident nor were there any injuries as a result of this incident.

Police were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre to a report of a robbery  at a Liquor store  located in the West Bay Road area.

The incident  took place yesterday 22 September just before 10:30PM, when a man brandishing what appears to be a handgun entered the store  demanding money from the cashiers and customers.

The man was described as wearing a long sleeve white shirt, a long blue jeans and wearing a baseball cap. He left the location on foot in the direction of central George Town.  Stolen during the robbery was a small quantity of cash.

This incident is being investigated the George Town Criminal  Investigation Department.Detectives are asking that anyone with information about this incident please contact ADS Kenval Bryan at 9381378 or call the George  Town Police Station at 9494222.
